Own Freehold Properties in Dubai through a RAKICC Company without a Dubai License
On July 22, 2019, RAKICC announced that they signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dubai Land Department (DLD) – the governing body for Dubai Real Estate – permitting RAKICC registered companies to own freehold properties in Dubai.
This means that there is no need for you to obtain a Dubai trade/commercial licence to own a property in Dubai under your company, giving you the opportunity to invest in the Emirate’s booming real estate market. As of now, there are 23 freehold areas in Dubai which include: Dubai Marina, Downtown Dubai, Jumeirah Village Circle and Palm Jumeirah.
If you are interested in buying a freehold property in Dubai, all you have to do is request a No Objection Certificate from RAKICC and present it to the DLD to register a property under your company.
